The Closed Closet

Phew, phew, phew!!! So, dear reincarnates of Venus, how are your Zaris and Zardozis doing? You mustn’t have visited them for a long while, I suspect. Oh, dear! Did I hear you say that some of those lovelies were new arrivals of the family, who didn’t get to see the entire clan and the most distant relatives haven’t had the slightest chance to praise their beauty? I do empathize with the deepening folds and creases of the priceless pieces in the closed closet.

We often end up investing in garbs which hallmarks a special occasion and then returns to the wardrobe without any second appearance. But, now with the recent change in the lifestyle of people brought about due to the novel coronavirus spread, we have our beautifully ornamented wardrobe with heavy dress pieces and with nowhere to go.

The question now here arises– what sort of dresses must now be the most sought for? And, the answer is pretty easy- those dress pieces which define grace, beauty, and ethnicity, yet are very light and are skin-loving under which your skin feels fresh and oxygenated.

The festival of Rakhi is just round the corner and this time at most of the houses it will be celebrated virtually with the same zeal and love. The age-old adage says that distance makes the heart grow fonder and here we are, practising social distancing.  Recently this phrase was re-coined to physical distancing. So far, we had been reading the message wrong, at this point in time, we all must be well-connected and stand at guard socially for one- other following physical distancing, which is the need of the hour. Let us redefine the festival of threads and promises this year and offer our presence socially and morally for our loved ones.

Hence, it is the right time to pamper ourselves with a new attire to celebrate our fathomless love for our brothers. Cotton and Mulmul will not only do justice to the upcoming festival, but also will make you put it on time and again. These fabrics never go out of fashion and the comfort, the ease of movement that it guarantees is exceptional and unparalleled. JOVI brings out a wide range of mulmul and fine cotton pieces which are hand embroidered and the fabric has hand block printing done on it- just enough to steal the show. Our Baiguni & Sharbati collections are the perfect wear for every occasion and the magnificence of the dress is such that it will not let any head unturned.
